Job market overview, popular sectors, salary expectations, work permits, and trusted job platforms for South Korea.
Job Market Overview
South Korea's Employment Permit System (EPS) is the main legal route for South Asian workers from eligible countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The EPS requires passing the EPS-TOPIK Korean language test in your home country. India is not currently on the E-9 eligible country list.
Korea also welcomes international students through the D-2 visa, with part-time work rights up to 20 hours per week during the semester. Use officially registered agencies only. For complete details on the EPS process and life in Korea, read our South Korea guide.
