- Profile ImagesPhotos processed strictly on your device.
- Career HistoryWork history, skills, and education.
- Design ChoicesColor palettes and font selections.
This information is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
1.2 Automatically Collected Data
To keep our platform fast and secure, we collect a small amount of anonymous technical data through third-party analytics:
- Device Info: Browser type, operating system, and device type.
- Usage Metrics: Anonymous and aggregated pages visited data.
02. Third-Party Advertising
SmartCV Builders may display advertisements through advertising partners including Ezoic and Google.
Ezoic and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to personalize content, measure advertising performance, and improve user experience.

Since SmartCV Builders does not store CV content on its servers, user-generated documents remain only within the user's browser storage (such as localStorage) unless exported or deleted by the user. If you clear your browser cache, local storage data will be deleted.
05. Zero AI Processing
SmartCV Builders does not use artificial intelligence systems to process, analyze, or generate content from user-entered CV information. Information entered into our builder tools is processed locally within the user's browser and is not used for machine learning training, model development, or AI-related processing. We do not transmit user CV content to external AI processing services.
06. Browser Storage & formatting
Your data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Since this is a privacy-first platform, there are no user accounts and no centralized databases.
Performance and Quality: Our privacy-first model does not compromise on document capability. Because our formatting engine operates entirely inside your browser's local memory, your document is designed using ATS-friendly formatting principles used by modern applicant tracking systems without ever transferring, storing, or exposing your personal information to external servers.
07. International Users
SmartCV Builders is accessible globally (including users in Japan, Australia, UAE, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and Europe). Users are responsible for complying with local privacy laws applicable in their jurisdiction.
08. Your Rights (GDPR)
SmartCV Builders respects your data rights. Because we are a local-first platform, you exercise your rights directly through your browser settings without needing to contact us.
Right to Access
You already have 100% access to your data through the builder interface. It never leaves your machine.
Right to Erasure
Wipe your data instantly by clearing your browser cache or using our 'Clear Data' tool in the editor.
